Glamper Dining Room Remodeling – Part VI – Cushions Repurposed From Vintage Chenille Spread

Glamper Dining Room Remod – PART VI

It’d been taking up space in my under-seat storage for some time before I thought to repurpose that old chenille bed spread into much-needed seat cushions for my custom built (by Hubby himself) dining booth.  Our retro-vintage island Glamper has really come a long….LONG way since we bought her a little more than a year-and-a-half ago.

Looking back to the day we arrived here on the island, to where we would situate our shabby old trailer, I never could’ve imagined such a gutted-out and dirty…musty old deer lease camper would turn into our beloved Mermaid Mansion; a true Glamping treasure for us full-time caravan dwellers.

As always, I so enjoy showing the BEFORE & AFTER photos of how MM was back in 2013, and how she is today…as of February 2015.  And to think…the very BEST part of making our home on wheels is, she’ll go with us where ever we should land.

And even though we are currently very content on our island home, the winds of change are in the air, and the roots we have planted (as it turns out) are just deep enough for us.

Many Blessings for you and your Glamping Family!  –Where ever on Mother Earth you may be.

*Life is for the living.  Mother Earth and Mother Ocean embrace us all to explore their many adventurous treasures.*

smart move on mm. if you get one in any shape , well they are hard to work with. cost to much and you hate to through away good that you just paid for. where as you bought one with good bones as we say. you gut it and here you come. if i remember right you bought new shoes, but did you repack the wheel bearings? much cheaper to do it now. another thing have you updated your insurance. lots lots of pics.

Thank you so much for commenting, breid 1903. : ) Taking care of the decorating is the fun part of remodeling. I thoroughly enjoy finding new, low cost, and creative ways to spruce up our home.
As for the mechanics of our beloved Mermaid Mansion — We need to buy new tires in order to get her mobile again. As for wheel bearings, I couldn’t say because that’s Hubby’s department. haha According to him, he plans to check all that out, including shoes. I’m rather clueless about all that.
Thanks again for your kind words. I really do appreciate it. I’ll soon be posting the latest photos of our kitchen remod thus far. I’m so happy with the way everything is turning out, after so long-of-a struggle.
