After almost a year, I finally got down to the business of painting the yucky, dark and dingy bathroom. Bright white was the only way to go! So I rolled up my sleeves, got out the Kilz…and went to work washing the dark panel walls with primer.
A nice layer of primer, and two thick coats of bright-white later, we had a sunlit space; a bathroom that looked much more inviting. Now…(more than likely, today) I must get to work on sewing my new curtains. I have just the right fabric! Then we will be getting a new faucet for the sink; maybe a new sink too, but not decided on that just-yet. : I Kinda thinking of getting, or making, a sconce lamp in there…to save counter-space. I have something in mind, and hope it turns out the way I envision.
In the meantime, I feel compelled to share with you-all…the BEFORE & AFTER pics of our bathroom. It is still as work in progress (as our Mermaid Mansion has been for the better-part of a year), so please keep in touch? We welcome your comments and suggestions…always.
Blessings & .V.. (Peace)
AFTER PAINT: Much better, but needs a woman’s touch (accessories)
