Whistling Dixie – Vintage Stoves in Glamper Caravan Kitchens

Wow!  Was I ever right about our old Dixie stove!  She cleaned up beautifully!!!  I couldn’t be happier with the results.  Hubby worked so hard on her yesterday, and we moved her into our caravan kitchen last night.  Only one place on the back chrome area looks to need some polishing or re-chroming.  I’m going to do some research on what to do that is the least stressing on our vintage gem.

If you-all have any pointers, please feel free to share?  I’ve already heard from one vintage stove enthusiast who restores these old girls, and has a wealth of information.  I’m sure hoping he can give some information on reviving old, rusty and dirty chrome.  *crossing fingers*

For now, I am sitting in awe of my New/Old Dixie Stove.  I can hardly wait to be preparing every meal I cook at home on my lovely treasure.  I might even put on my apron!  :  )Image
